Rediscovering Coastal Maine

I used to go to Maine — especially Old Orchard Beach — every summer with my parents. We had a cabin near the Canada/USA border so we woke up super early and we left before sunrise and then we drove all the way down to Old Orchard Beach, Maine. A couple hours later, after witnessing the biggest moose on the road, our toes were touching the warm sand of the beach.

When came my teenage years, I quickly found this destination so kitsch and not worth my time.

As the years went by, I went back and discovered the destination through a totally new eye.

I put together this article on by blog about the Best Things To Do In Maine, because I know a lot of people still have in mind this is a worthless destination where there's nothing to do. Let me prove you wrong!
